Liechtenstein schools shoot video for peace

Together strong for children in war zones

Four schools from Liechtenstein responded to the call from SOS Children's Villages and made a touching video as part of the international awareness campaign "Stomping for Peace" to stand up for the rights of children in war zones.

We are delighted to publish the short video "Stamping for peace" today. With their short video, Formatio Triesen, Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium Vaduz, Mauren Primary School and Balzers Secondary School, together with SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein, are sending a clear message: the ground should shake - not because of bombs, but because of many, many children stomping and thus standing up for children's rights in conflict zones. Many homemade posters, a peace garland and some sculptures were created as part of the project. The Liechtenstein Grammar School formed a powerful statue for peace with hundreds of pupils. Statements by motivated children show that we here in Liechtenstein - far away from the war zones - are not willing to stand idly by.

Many thanks to the participating schools for their fantastic efforts! Let's stomp together again on November 20 with around 40 SOS Children's Villages countries to finally promote peace in the world.
