The running event for children and young people is not about being particularly fast, but about moving together and covering as many metres as possible. Start your own "Every metre counts" running campaign with your school or club and run together for a good cause.
It's so easy: first decide on a date and place where the run should take place. Before the big day, the runners look for sponsors such as parents, relatives or local companies who will donate an agreed amount to SOS Children's Villages for each lap (or km) run. You are also welcome to dedicate "your metres" to a specific project, perhaps you would like to enable children in Peru to attend school, donate water pumps or donate measles vaccinations. We look forward to your participation.
Let's go - every metre counts!
