As part of their ethics and religion lessons, the pupils of class 1d, accompanied by their teacher Peter Mennel, organized this fantastic campaign. They proudly handed over the proceeds to Maike Hilti from SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein. As part of the cheque presentation, the children were also able to find out what the money will be used for.
It will go towards the SOS emergency aid program in Ukraine, in which SOS Children's Villages provides fast and unbureaucratic help for children and families from war zones in Ukraine or neighbouring countries. In addition to the provision of important relief supplies for daily needs, psychological support is also provided at the SOS locations and by mobile teams. Since the beginning of the war, more than 400,000 children, young people and families have already been reached by this program and over 12,000 children have found safe accommodation in the SOS Children's Villages in the surrounding countries.
On behalf of all the children and families supported, the SOS Children's Village Liechtenstein would like to express its sincere thanks for this valuable donation.
