Two sports teachers from SOS Children's Villages offer children space and time to play football, taking them out onto the grass in their immediate living environment to play together. Simple, uncomplicated and on the spot. It doesn't take much to feel like a pro in the stadium! From 6 yellow benches, a small football stadium is created in just a few minutes, where training sessions, games and tournaments are possible. FC Vaduz supports this commitment and donates 30 children's jerseys, gauntlets and 35 footballs to SOS Children's Village. Franz Burgmeier, Sports Director of FC Vaduz, comments: "This project of SOS Children's Village is absolutely worth supporting. Children can let off steam, make new friends and learn a lot for life by playing football. We also like the fact that all children can participate in an uncomplicated way." Magdalena Frommelt, Managing Director of SOS Children's Villages Liechtenstein explains the background of the project: "In many settlements and residential areas in Austria, there are fewer and fewer places where children can let off steam and play together. The understanding of adults is also often lacking. With "Heimspiel", we at SOS Children's Villages want to set an example and support children in reclaiming play space in their immediate living environment."
