Due to an increased life-threatening situation, the SOS Children's Village Rafah in Palestine has been relocated. On May 28, 245 residents of the SOS Children's Village Rafah were relocated to emergency shelters in the central Gaza Strip, as the security situation on the ground was drastically exacerbated by the Israeli ground offensive and air strikes. Tents have been erected and a solar system installed, they have been given gasoline and have been provided with food by World Central Kitchen. At the beginning of June, bombs hit just 100-200 meters from the SOS Children's Village.
Our colleagues in Palestine are doing everything they can to restore this vital humanitarian support in the tent camp as quickly as possible and are working together with international organizations such as International Medical Corps and UK-Med.
